MGM Industries is a family-owned and operated welding and machine shop based in Invermere, BC. We proudly serve contractors, homeowners, and businesses throughout the Columbia Valley with reliable welding, machining, fabrication, and metal supply services.
Owner Matt Moll took over the business in 2013 from his uncle, Miko Puskaric, when the company was formerly known as Rocky Metals and Machining. But Matt’s connection to the shop started long before that.
As a teenager, Matt began working in the shop sweeping floors and helping wherever he could. Over the years he learned the trade from the ground up, eventually earning his Red Seal Machinist certification and later becoming a certified Welder as well.
Today, that hands-on experience allows Matt and the MGM Industries team to take on a wide range of projects — from precision machining and equipment repairs to custom fabrication and welding. Whether it’s creating one-off parts, repairing heavy equipment, building custom gates or railings, installing structural steel or supplying metal for local projects, MGM Industries provides practical solutions and dependable workmanship.
Matt’s background in both machining and welding gives him a strong understanding of how things are built, repaired, and improved. That means customers can come in with an idea, a broken part, or a challenging project and work together with the shop to find the right solution.
